Gary commenced practising Law in 1983 and undertook his Articles with the predecessor to Goldsmiths Lawyers and has remained with the firm ever since. Gary runs and supervises all of the firm’s litigation. He has built up a large amount of expertise across a wide range of different legal areas, Gary brings that experience to assist clients in resolving the disputes and problems that they face both commercially and privately.

Gary has extensive experience in all courts throughout Victoria and often appears himself. With the assistance of a Bar of approximately 2,500 barristers he is able to run, co-ordinate and assist clients in achieving their goals. No matter is too big or complex.

Gary is involved in a wide range of community activities.

Darren began legal practice in 1984 and quickly became a partner in 1987.  Darren now practices principally in the areas of Property, Commercial and Family Law.  He has built a solid reputation for prompt results providing astute advice which achieves his client’s goals.  Darren is particularly experienced in negotiating and settling complicated commercial transactions including business takeovers and family law agreements.
 

When not in the office, Darren can be found on any one of Melbourne’s fine golf courses, supporting his beloved St Kilda Football Club or volunteering his time to his Son’s local cricket team.

Steven loves accounting and graduated in 2006.  Steven commenced with Goldsmiths Lawyers in 2010.  Since joining Goldsmiths he has fully utilised his accounting skills in his position, priding himself on assisting people and colleagues in doing exciting accounting tasks.

 

Steven has the responsibility of the firm’s office and trust accounts and facilitates the firm’s day to day accounting process and needs.  Did we mention that Steven can speak four other languages, these include Cantonese, Mandarin, Malay and Hokkien.

Christine started working at Goldsmiths Lawyers in 2017 and quickly worked her way up from receptionist to legal secretary to now our paralegal. Her areas of practice are conveyancing and property law including, residential & commercial transactions, off-the plan purchases, land subdivision, land transfers and more.

Chloe completed her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce in 2017. Chloe has been with Goldsmiths Lawyers since January 2017 and is currently undertaking her Supervised Legal Training. She is due to be admitted to legal practice in 2019.

 

Chloe has had extensive training in a number of practice areas including: Family De / Facto Law, Civil Litigation, Wills and Estates, Commercial Practice, Property Law, Intervention Orders and Criminal Law.

 

Chloe intends on predominantly practicing in Family / De Facto Law.
